Today I went to my 7 month meeting with the Menu Study. This is the clinical research study that I've been doing since January. Wow! I was amazed. I haven't seen these women for a month and I was now really able to notice the weight loss. We were all stoked! I have lost 30lbs since January! Another lady lost 40lbs! We all looked really good. I'm coming away from this with established good eating & exercising habits. I know that the key is in eating in moderation & regular exercise. Sounds pretty simply huh? Well in theory it is! but to practice this is harder. I learned today that when you do something for 10 weeks it becomes a habit, I've got to be consistent in my exercise routine so that I can have the habit of daily exercise.
Its great news! I feel good, I've lost 3 sizes in clothes and I'm out of the obese category, yikes! I've got more that 10 weeks to go, so hopefully I will walk away from this study with established good eating & exercise habits and thus maintain my "smaller" me and strengthen myself physically.
