Intentional Living
When something flashes before your eyes, you either look at or look away. You focus on the thing or close the lens.
It's your choice.
When you hear something, it's now in your "hearing range" you can either tune in or tune out, step out of range or stay put.
Its your choice.
When it's your turn to talk, you've been given the floor and all eyes and ears are on you; What is your talk about? Does it uplift?
It's your choice.
The other part:
When your eyes have seen it all, what will you do with the aftermath? will it determine your vision? will it consume your imagination? Still...
It's your choice.
When your ears have heard the unmentionable, and the buzz lingers on, the voices and noises are there. What will you do? Will you get closer and hear the rest? Will what you heard make a path for a new hearing pitch? Will your ears give in to the insatiable itch? Still...
It's your choice.
When your tongue got away from you and the words spilled out. The facts, the exaggerations, the bad feelings all came barreling out. What will you do now? Will you try to talk your way out of the mess? will you defend your "provoked" state? Still....
It's your choice.
Will you Do it On Purpose? Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, oh man, what is good; and what doeth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy and to walk humbly with thy God? (KJV)
