It's the end of the day...the end of the first day of the rest of my life. How did I choose to spend it?
This is how a Homemaker usually spends a first day....
I looked back at yesterday and the day before that...I could not help but focus on the messes of those days already in the past. I had to clean up yesterdays messes or they would have affected my today and perhaps even my tomorrow.
Today, Monday; I cleaned up the messy bedroom and folded the scattered clean laundry. I scrubbed the bathrooms and vacuumed the floors. I put away dishes and wiped down the counters. By late afternoon I could look around my home and rest because things were in order.
The first day of the rest of my life was spent in preparing for my next first day and my tomorrow. I spent my day doing one of my jobs.
