Usually, when people hit a wall of pain and loss and they've slammed into it face on, all the "if only I would haves" ooze out like puss from a festering sore.
Few people are good at giving their love lavishly, and telling their beloved how much they mean to them and liberally topping it all with public displays of affection. I'm not one of that elite group.
Tell
I have a lot of appreciation for my loved ones, so much so that it could easily trickle out IF I wasn't so guarded. Yet, I struggle, to tell them because I'm full of excuses; and fear and procrastination; manana I'll tell them.
Hopefully just writing this will trigger me to tell people; my people, my loves will hear words of gratitude and love from me before the years end.
