JUST 12 oz.

 
I lost 12oz!!
My immediate reaction wasn't YAY! or great job!  It was; "WHAT? NOT EVEN A WHOLE POUND!" But, you wanna know what kept me from delving into disappointment? the actual number. Yup. Because those 12 little ounces put me into the "lesser" "10s" weight category. And....as much as I hate to admit it, the numbers are affecting me. I have a goal of 20lbs. Not ideal weight loss, but definitely realistic.  According to the chart I have 4lbs 4oz to go  :) no longer 5lbs.
 
 
I did wonder about where that 12oz came and went? because the overall calories were the same intake. Hmmm? I had to check and see what was different this week than last, you see last week was 2lbs weight loss.  It is amazing that the small things can be a snare if they are bad habits...small things like not exercising a little.  Small things like extra sweets....
 
However, although when you look at the smaller picture 12oz isn't a lot that small progress can lead to progress.  Look at the long term goals; 12oz after 12oz can not only change your appearance but your habits and health and most likely it will affect your overall mindsets....
