SHOUT OUT!!!

 
I GOTTA GIVE A SHOUT OUT TO MY SUPPORT :)
 
Myfitnesspal.com is a great tool for helping me stay on track with my calories and ultimately keeping my weight managed...yippee today at my "Menu Study" meeting with the group of ladies I weighed in at another less pound, for me, I am 2lbs away from my goal.....slowly and steadily we are taking off our extra pounds.
Being accountable with the calorie counter & the support meeting has really helped.  The other small and unseen tool is my lil pedometer...counts my steps....I aim at 10,000 steps a day and it helps me view and move when my steps are low.
Soon, I'll enter into the maintenance part of this program, we'll see then how it goes. See I have to implement these habits and fasten them to my daily routines....for how long? FOREVA!
In the meetings we've progressed from learning the habits of measuring, knowing and eyeballing our portion servings. We've learned to count our calories and eat enough.  We've learned about strategies and foods that could easily work in our lives and we've learned about the "exercise daily dose".  BUT, were also learning about those negative thoughts that sabotage our goals, dreams, new 've habits....
Again, I'm entering my 4th month and it's definitely a learning experience and a great feeling seeing good results from very do-able daily changes.....
I've got a ways to go to get daily exercise regularly in my days, and I'm not too comfortable with the "just one bite" concept yet...but I have definitely seen changes.
