Our Military
Tonight we honored our veterans.
gave thanks for their service
stopped to consider the sacrifice
a salute to those who took serious their call to duty
Many gave their lives for the freedoms we enjoy
They stood up tonight to humbly accept our
thank yous and our applause.
My husband stood up and I was proud of
his service to this great country
And now I ponder on those families who solemnly
remember their loved ones.
A sacrifice we will never ever be able to appreciate
as long as we freely roam the good 'ole U.S. of A'
Such freedoms as worship, Oh the incredible rest
we have in the One True God! And as a woman,
the freedom to voice my opinion and pursue the
most I can out of life.
Thank you again Mr. Veteran I'm incredibly grateful
for my peace and liberty!
